Mehmas ex. Peshkova (Henry De Bromhead)

€950.00

Why her?

This filly broke the internet when we bought her, well horse racing internet anyway. This email right now is your chance to own part of her.

Our bargain breezers have never been more popular, here’s why we had to add this Mehmas filly to our Havana Grey filly and Acclamation colt and we’ve no doubt once our owners have had a chance to read through why we were so excited to get her, we’ll also be selling out:

🌟 Speed on speed: She had the raw speed to clock a time in the top 15 of the whole sale of 200 catalogued lots and her sire, Mehmas, is more expensive (€50,000) and has sired more Group 1 winners than any stallion with progeny above her on the timesheet. We’ve never managed to afford a filly who did such impressive breeze that was combined with such an elite stallion and pedigree. Just watch how effortless she makes it here in her breeze.

🌟 Value play: Three Mehmas two-year-olds finished in the top 15 breeze times. The other two finished in the top three lots of the sale making £160,000 and £150,000. The third, our filly, cost just £50,000 despite also clocking a faster first furlong than both of them. It almost felt like a glitch we got her for this price.

🌟 King Henry: Investing in this filly allows you access to one of Ireland’s greatest trainers. We believe people have been sleeping on Henry’s incredible results on the flat from tiny amount of runners. He is operating at 18% winners to runners this flat season.

🌟 A very expensive blink - Her time of 21.27 seconds to cover two furlongs was a blink of an eye (0.3 seconds) away from being the fastest of the whole sale - that’s how fast this filly was. That filly that did go fastest cost £185,000.

🌟 Proven Source, Aligned Incentives - We’ve only ever bought one horse from Justin Timmon’s Dolmen Bloodstock. That was OrderofthePhoenix which we bought for €60,000 and we sold for $250,000 three months later. Just like OrderofthePhoenix, Justin is a big believer in this filly, that’s why he insisted he kept 25% to align incentives for Justin to deliver for us yet again. Our vet agreed too, Tom O'Keefe, gave her a glowing thumbs up on his inspection of our shortlist.

What’s the plan?

If I had to map out a dream plan for this filly, I’d look at also syndicate owned The Platinum Queen. She clocked a fast time and was bought for £56,000 at this same sale. She won her debut on 1 June. She ran in Royal Ascot. She then progressed to win the Group 1 Prix De L’Abbye on Arc Weekend before selling to the Yoshida family at Tattersalls for £1m in December of the same year.

However, baby steps first, she has been whisked to Henry immediately and he’ll prepare her for an Irish maiden. Looking at the program book, the six furlong maiden on the Friday of Irish Guineas weekend on 24th of May could be the ideal starting point for her and her lucky owners.

A Fun and Profitable Venture: We love buying breezers. It’s a proven cheat code to unearthing horses with talent but at a value level if you can spot gaps in the market. Our goal is to maximise enjoyment and financial return. We’ve asked Henry to focus on the best possible level of ability this filly has and with luck, after seeing her breeze that can lead to huge fun and maybe a nice touch reselling her if all goes to plan.

Discover Our Journey: We meticulously combed through over 200 horses to buy this Mehmas filly. Make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel to watch out in-depth video when we release it in the coming days - our horses have been selling so fast we thought we would email to give you access first before releasing that video to the world (she will out fairly quick if get 134,000 views again!).
